Kieselguhr (diatomaceous earth) BECOGUR® is used for precoat filtration. It can be used in combination with these types of filters: Precoat sheet/frame filters with washable support sheets Precoat filters (vessel filters) with horizontal or vertical screen elements Precoat candle filters Rotary vacuum filters for the removal of large quantities of solid matter Chamber filter presses BECOLITE® (perlite) Exists in 3 qualities and is used in combination with kiselguhr Filter Additives BECOFLOC® is used to reinforce the filter cake and increase its volume of precoat filtration Filter cellulose BECOCEL® deposited either as a precoat or by a body feed technique form a stable base for the product flow and reinforce the filter cake. Cracks and pitting are thereby avoided.
